Mad Max is a 1979 Australian dystopian post-apocalyptic action film. It was directed by George Miller, written by Miller & James McCausland, and produced by Byron Kennedy and Terry Hayes. The film also stars Tom Burlinson as ‘Max Rockatansky’ and Bruce Spence as ‘Pappagallo’.
The plot revolves around a reluctant hero named Max Rockatansky who joins forces with other survivors of societal collapse to protect themselves from wandering bands of marauders that prey on them. The screenplay was based on the concept proposed by Miller to make a film about a road warrior who had nothing but his car, his clothes and his gun for protection.
Blade Runner
Blade Runner is the story of a future where humans are genetically engineered to be superior. The movie follows Rick Deckard, a man who hunts down androids (robots) and works for the police. He’s also a replicant himself—a combination of human and android DNA. A new version of this film will be released in 2022, directed by Denis Villeneuve.

You might be familiar with the 1994 film, Stargate. It’s one of those movies that has been adapted into a TV series and made into several video games, but to this day it remains one of the best science-fiction films ever made. The movie starred Kurt Russell and James Spader as two soldiers who accidentally find themselves on an alien world after using an Egyptian artifact called a stargate to travel through time and space.
The director for Stargate was Roland Emmerich who also directed Independence Day, Godzilla (1998), 2012 (2009) and White House Down (2013).

Fox as Marty McFly, Christopher Lloyd as Doctor Emmett “Doc” Brown and Lea Thompson as Lorraine Baines McFly. With its cultural impact considered at the time of its release, it is regarded as one of the greatest films ever made, earning $381 million at the box office.[2]
